Description

Clindamycin phosphate injection is a macrolide antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections in the body. It's used when patients have had an allergic reaction to penicillin. Clindamycin phosphate injection contains clindamycin phosphate, a water-soluble ester of clindamycin and phosphoric acid, as well as benzyl alcohol as a preservative.
